I grabbed a 160K rip of this and am sorting though it. Curious to see if anyone else has come across it. Actually this is the second set I've d/l'ed with a similar title. The first set had two versions of 'Swan Song,' a short instrumental with drums. The second is missing this. Too bad, it was probably the most interesting thing to be found on the 1st set. ***cough: If anyone has this recording, a YSI or gmail would be great*** ...

Other interesting stuff to be found on this: several run-throughs of 'Friends' with full tabla and sitar accompaniment, an almost-there version of 'Stairway' with some alternate lyrics, an electric version of 'Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp' called 'Jennings Farm Blues.'

Most of it is from the time period you would want, ie 69-75. There is a lot of stuff that is pretty unlistenable (live recordings made in the next room), but there are a few gems. I'll try to set up a YSI link of the highlights in a few hours.

fifteen years pass...

I got a bootleg of one of their Fillmore west 1969 shows I think it was released as the dancing avocado. Really excellent. Their albums can get too pristine for me so hearing them a little less well recorded is great.

What are some other great Zep boots? I haven't looked into this topic much but Southampton 1973 is a beaut.

Earls court 75 is meant to be good.

I think they really benefit from not having pages perfectionism applied to them

Live, the contrary can occasionally be true, too.
