Jacqueline,
turn on the tv. see the nonsense that passes for programming, and realize that this-- THIS-- has 3/4 of the public glued to the set.
drop by a local bookstore. Look at the kind of ass that actually crawls its way up the NY Times bestsellers list.
go to a movie theatre, and take a couple hours to absorb the nauseating, formulaic drivel that rakes in hundreds of millions of dollars for film studios.
turn on the radio. listen to the talentless hacks out there that populate the airwaves, bragging endlessly about their expensive cars and sexual promiscuity-- and then watch them shamelessly recycle the same themes for their next singles.
go to a grocery store. look at the hundreds of shelves filled with overprocessed, nutritionally valueless crap that people actually want to put in their mouths.
go to a department store. look at all the worthless trinkets, gadgets, and junk that people collectively spend billions of dollars on every year, and imagine the massive piles of it that just end up taking space out there.
go out to a freeway. watch the millions of high-priced SUVs and cars going by, each containing a solitary human being, each burning thousands of dollars worth of gas every year.
go to a drug store. watch how many people sink fortunes into unnecessary medications that tv commericals have convinced them that they need.
is there a market for what you've got? you tell me.

The most important qualities for a female MC, or any MC, really are:
voice, charisma, lyricism, and breath control.
Although now we need to add "bladder control" to that list.

Jacqueline,
If a Skat Cat can win over the hearts of America, there's room for you to cold rock the whole world! Now go get it, girl!
Also, please post some of your rhymes here as many A&R guys lurk on this board.
