So, there you have it. Steve Miller Band by a bong-hit.

I can't answer this with any degree of objectivity, since I hated the Steve Miller Band more than any other group in the world all through high school. I have cooled on this a lot since but the bitter taste remains.

I guess "The Bomber" must have gotten deducted two points for not having the Bolero part, which I think was edited off of the greatest hits version. I'd definitely take "Woman" by the James Gang up a notch, that song has a great sleazy slide guitar part that sounds like a pickup line.

I never said a thing against the James Gang! SMB, though, still irk me a lot.

No way is "Living in the U.S.A." a 9.5 if "Walk Away" is only a 9. Yadig?

Rickey Wright (Rrrickey), Thursday, 18 August 2005 23:46 (twenty years ago)

It's the later SMB that I hate as much as Matos.
The Joker = arghhh! Sailor is a litte classic.
But I'd flip Scott's scores and give James Gang the prize here.
I put "The Bomber" at the end of a Thin Lizzy CD mix, and it fits!
