Ah, but you linked to an early verison of the Saint Etienne cover, in which the girl in the bottom right hand corner doesn't yet have a poster of the Foxbase Alpha cover on her wall. Meta! I don't know if this is really the best album cover of the year, but that small change in the art makes the cover even better.

It's Hewlett-esque, in as much as it's in a generally comic style. But I don't think it's him, his stuff's incredibly distinctive. And the Roll Deep cover isn't so much.

DJ Martian - i reckon you won't be able to enjoy the anti-hotlinking beige boxes rateyourmusic employs unless you clear your cache.

if you get a beige box it is a bit of work but you can right click view image - you'll see the beige box - and then reload and you'll get the actual image.
