Anyone heard this yet? Pretty big departure from their first record. Kinda sounds like New Order to me.

one thing though: please tell me it's completely free of "be my baby" type drum intros

I hope he loses whatever it is he puts his voice through like on the first LP. It got old really fast and his own voice is prettty nice and doesn't need that stuff.

Vocals are still filtered on this one, but in a different way.

The mp3 that's floating around that is only 1:25 isn't the full song, is it? With these terse Scandinavians you never know. In any case, the beginning is indeed a bit New Orderish.

I've had this on my Slsk wishlist for a while now but nothing's come up.

I've got the debut album, like some of it a lot but the vocal effects do get a bit samey. My wife loves them, but she's a sucker for Swedish indiepop.

The 1:25 version of the track is not the full version-it fades out, probably to avoid sharing.

the acid house kings album has what sounds like a legends 'unplugged' song on it even though he still uses an electric guitar.

The album has been leaked. Very different sound, with 80s synths and stuff, not that direct as the first one was. I just listen the first album a lot these days now, and think thar was a masterpiece.

I've just discovered this, "He Knows the Sun" is AMAZING! Not groundbreaking in any way but amazing nonetheless. Does anybody else things it sounds like Lush's "For Love" (also fab BTW)?

Here's the 1:25 clip from the Labrador website.

Definitely agree with the "For Love" comparison. Also, some of this album is a deadringer for 17 Seconds/Faith era The Cure.
Nonetheless, I am really loving this album right now. The first half, especially, is so solid.

I forgot about this band despite loving and buying the debut. Looked into my folder and see that I have it…so playing it now. First and second song (playing now) does sound very Cureish, thanks for the reminder ILM.

I was supremely disappointed with this record. Still like to see them live though- has anyone here seen them?

Public Radio is still killing me; the first half is flawless. I never hear guitar bands these days write songs as good as these. Any recommendations?
