Inspired by the new Freakwater album, Thinking of You. I really love Freakwater but what a LOUSY cover. It just looks like a shitty record. What does one do?

i love a good cover, but i'm not put off a record i want by a bad one. it would only matter if it were an impulse buy of a record i wasn't familiar with.

I have no idea about the band, but I kinda like the cover.

I've seen worse. I've bought worse.

Freakwater is AWESOME. "Old Paint" is one of the best albums ever.

"There is nothing so pure as the kindness of an atheist
a simple act of unselfishness
that never asks to be repaid"

Atheists never want their kindness repaid?

b'angelo, Thursday, 25 August 2005 14:16 (twenty years ago)

Is that all, I was expecting a Carcass style orgy of blood and guts. Only dud thing about it is the font.

it made me think of one of my dad's old records:

I'm sure the Freakwater thing is going for a tacky aesthetic on purpose. But it seems like the wrong thing for Freakwater.

Hurting (Hurting), Thursday, 25 August 2005 14:23 (twenty years ago)

It doesn't so much matter for CDs. If an LP cover was truly horrendous, no-one would buy it, no matter what.

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 25 August 2005 14:28 (twenty years ago)

An athiest isn't doing a good thing because he/she believes that there will be a grand reward at The End. Christians do good things because it gets them Heaven Points. Or that's the general idea of them there lyrics anyways.

See, now, THAT cover rules

Roger Fidelity (Roger Fidelity), Thursday, 25 August 2005 19:17 (twenty years ago)

My work PC blocked the site = it rules by default.
