That Panther video is pretty good. And I usually hate videos that consist of artist more-or-less making out with camera, and I also usually hate videos that start with someone putting on a record. "Oh, I wonder what record he's putting on?"

The Tribulations video is great.

Maybe last year but whatever:
Drop It Like It's Hot
Rumors.

1 Thing.
I don't really like Sophie Mueller, but Gwen "Cool" is a great video.
Signs.
Ashlee 'Pieces of Me' and Bow Wow 'Let Me Hold You' are strangely entertaining.
Since U Don't Know Me, I guess.

For unmatchable hilarity, Lil Rob - Summer Nights.

Zed Szetlian (Finn MacCool), Saturday, 27 August 2005 18:08 (twenty years ago)

Laszlo Kovacs (Laszlo Kovacs), Saturday, 27 August 2005 19:11 (twenty years ago)

LCD Soundsystem made a video??? Why?? Where can I see it??? It's not like they get heavy rotation on MTV2 or anything.

Mr. Snrub, Sunday, 28 August 2005 01:26 (twenty years ago)

jmeister (jmeister), Sunday, 28 August 2005 02:11 (twenty years ago)

fall out boy - sugar we're going down

i like the antlers and also the fact that the video is really concentrating on the story
like, the only shots of the band are all from one stage, not a bazillion different ones

nervous (cochere), Sunday, 28 August 2005 02:52 (twenty years ago)

umm, I'll go with t.A.T.u. - "All About Us" - simply because I haven't been watching any MTV and all my knowledge of 2005 videos comes from ILM.

It could use some antlers, though.

joseph cotten (joseph cotten), Sunday, 28 August 2005 03:06 (twenty years ago)

It has titties. who needs antlers?

zeus, Sunday, 28 August 2005 15:02 (twenty years ago)

I wish I knew the title, but I was amazed by this Rammstein video where they're all obese and rocking out.

billstevejim (billstevejim), Sunday, 28 August 2005 15:48 (twenty years ago)

LCD Soundsystem made a video??? Why?? Where can I see it??? It's not like they get heavy rotation on MTV2 or anything.

They've made videos for "Loosing My Edge" (two years after its release), "Movement", "Daft Punk is Playing at My House", "Disco Infiltrator", and "Tribulations". Try looking up lcdsoundsystem.com and the NME's site.
