Yank Crimes is one of most epic punk albums ever. But so is Times of Grace. Neurosis because of their videos and visuals. Musically I can't decide. I can't understand why more people aren't into all these bands. Maybe I am deaf.

Hey, I'm into them all.

I really want to hear "On a Rope" right now.

The last few Neurosis records have been awful. Reis and Froberg never made anything awful. I love Neurosis up to like 1998 though.

I don't think these bands are even remotely comparable apart from the fact that they both are hard rock oriented. How about Sepultura vs. Neurosis? A much better and fairer comparison.

I listened to "Enemy of the Sun" the other day and really enjoyed it.

I quite liked the last Neurosis album actually.
I agree with ned though.

the last 2 neurosis albums have been two of my most played records in years. i love them. i don't think they have ever made a bad record. it's getting harder and harder for me to write about their soundalikes though. a new one every month. ugh.

Neurosis are good, but I listened to waaaaayy more Drive Like Jehu in high school. For that matter, I never got into RFTC or Pitchfork either.

Wow, Through Silver in Blood is good! Not just for cleaning out mental cobwebs, but for music, too!
