In light of the recent war between Ozzy and Iron Maiden, who is a better representation of all things metal? Ozzy or Eddie?

It's true that one of these two is a cartoon figure, but please don't hold that against Ozzy.

I'll take Eddie!

Eddie in that he transcends death.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 28 August 2005 22:50 (twenty years ago)

Eddie in that he isn't related to Jack Osbourne.

Eddie in that he is Eddie. And isn't Ozzy. Both seem to be incapable of speech, but only one makes the wise decision, as a result, to be mute.

I will now go bump my TS: Eddie vs. Alister Fiend vs. Vic Rattlehead thread, and I wxpect you all to join me in my celebration of cartoon mascots. Details and link to follow.

if i remember my history correctly, derek riggs drew eddie before he met iron maiden. and he was meant to be a punk-rocker.
