Well, I've already got two of these.

BanjoMania (Brilhante), Tuesday, 30 August 2005 01:22 (twenty years ago)

Ha. If it were D'Arcy's, maybe I'd think about it.

By the way, I'd like someone to finally explain this to me. Back in the mid-nineties I noticed that the CD cover art (the siamese twins) for Siamese Dream is the same exact CD cover art for Lenny Kravitz's Are You Gonna Go My Way?. Why is this?

my siamese dream CD is all red with the SP heart sketch

anon123, Tuesday, 30 August 2005 02:28 (twenty years ago)

The siamese twins image is a standard Virgin Records record label design. Hundreds and hundreds of releases on Virgin Records (going back to the 70s) feature that image (on the label in the middle of the LP or on the CD face).

A platinum "record" looks really lame when it's actually a CD.

kind of feel like maybe the bass player is pulling corgie's leg?

tylerw, Friday, 18 February 2011 16:09 (fifteen years ago)

or maybe billy is pulling his fans' legs, like he's done since, oh, 2006-07 reunion?

Damn this thread seems so....different without ilxor (ilxor), Friday, 18 February 2011 16:12 (fifteen years ago)

It's hard to say for sure, but it's possible...nose and eyes match for sure, there are similarities.

I don't think this is true. The band did this thing back in 2007 where they were looking for the girls to follow up with them, I'm thinking it would have come up before now.

tylerw, Friday, 18 February 2011 16:17 (fifteen years ago)

Hey Billy, stop tweeting and work on Teargarden songs, I mean, come on, eight songs in 14 months? Better yet, how about the final Metro show DVD? Or even better than that, the deluxe remasters with "tons of vault material" you've been promising for over 11 years? Ugh, fuck I wish I hadn't been so invested in this band at one point in my life.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 18 February 2011 16:22 (fifteen years ago)

I know, I know. I actually haven't even really thought about the band in months (didn't even know the eighth song had been released!), but sometimes I think about all the "coulda beens".
