Has anyone else heard this yet? I came across it the other day at the local indie record store out there other day. It came out last month from what I can tell. It is totally worth hunting down. The D side is the weakest, but the other three sides are completely bananas!

A1 Annette Dream 17 (Mayday Mix)
A2 De Lite Wild Times (Mayday Mix)
B1 Yvette Pump Me (Mayday Mix)
B2 Neuropolitique Artemis (Mayday Mix)
C Sueño Latino Sueño Latino (Derrick May Mix)
D1 Reese Rock To The Beat (Mayday Mix)
D2 Nitzer Ebb Shame (Mayday Mix)

It is totally worth looking into. Sorry if it has already been mentioned; I did not see anything in the archives about it.

i'm pretty sure this is vinyl only and a bootleg. we should have it right now at amoeba but i have yet to come across it as i was on vacation. i'll check...

yep. vinyl only, total bootleg - no barcode, no pic sleeve. 'made in england' sticker on the back. they look somewhat similar to those carl craig remix comps we've been stocking, so i think it's the same people. 22.98 at amoeba SF.

I have the Annette 12", just checked and there's no Derrick May remix. I also have the compilation it's from, North, I think it's called, which is all manchester-esque acid stuff, T-Coy, A Guy Called Gerald, various Hacienda and ACR people doing acid. Oh here it is:

I Ain't Nightclubbing is a great track. My copy is a bit burnt and fuzzy sounding. T-Coy was Mike Pickering (Hacienda DJ/Quando Quango/M-People) and Simon Topping from A Certain Ratio. There other track on this comp was Cariño, which must've been something of a hit because it's on Profile's Best of House Vol 1.

ha! the first record i ever released was a bootleg of 'carino' with public enemy over it. boy, has that aged badly!
