There was one previous related thread on Freddie Mas, but let's give In Flagranti and other Codek folk their own. Swiss/NY arpeggio-disco-rock label. The new IF/Mas collab looks good, due next month.

um. is this new style? because the codek i know is pretty much a deep house / trip hop / broken beat label in the vein of a dancier fila brazillia.

well, i really DO like codek ... "d'afro disco" is one of my top discs from that year ... but it is sort of sad to see them jumping a stale bandwagon (italo / punk-funk) when their earlier bandwagon (afro/latin in the spacy, groovy GAMM style instead of frantic MAW-isms) is still so fresh!
