The best electronic early Happy Rhodes, which reminds me more of The Dreaming than anything else ever has (or perhaps more accurately "Breathing" meets early Bel Canto meets early Eurythmics) - search "Because I Learn", "Baby Don't Go", "The Issue Is", "Dreams Are", "He's Alive", "I'm Not Awake, I'm Not Asleep", "Poetic Justice", "Look For The Child"... all recorded on marvellously portentous, icy synthesisers. If I had to recommend a single album I'd say Rearmament.

Larry Fast - Metropolitan Suite
John Adams - Hoodoo Zephyr
Second the Coil, with the addition that most of their albums are crazy keyboard workouts, thinking of Love's Secret Domain, Moon's Milk, Musick to Play in the Dark, etc etc.
Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene, Magnetic Fields
Tangerine Dream - 1970-1979
Would Tonto's Expanding Head Band count here?

Andrew Poppy ? his ZTT stuff has just been reissued in glorious packaging - lots of fairlight action across 3 cds.

'the amusement' (full length version) is wonderful .. something he never surpassed imo.
