basically the band were doing their thing, and jim was constantly trying to project through the tv camera to the audience a la every other bloody performance he does. anyway, tv director obviously decided that enough was enough, and constantly cut from camera to camera, meaning that jim was floundering while he tried to keep up .. towards the end it became so entertaining as everytime jim scanned round to find the relevant 'live' camera and he moved in for the kill they cut to another one thus meaning that jim hardly ever got to do his arm stretched out desperation thing.
