What genre describes the Newsboys Remixed CD?

I'm not talking about the native Newsboys music, but, rather all the remixes done by other (much more talented) artists that contributed to the compilation titled, "Remixed." This CD contains electronic-ish versions of their songs, and I think they're a vast improvement.

I really like the style of music, but have no idea how to classify it so I can go look for more, by other artists.

Does anyone want to help out?

Christian, Other/Contemporary

"Christian" is an audience segment, not a musical genre. Please remove "Christian" from the mix. If the lyrics were different, what would the _music_ be classified as?

Forget I said Newsboys!!! Geez! Is it pure electronic, synth-pop, something else??

The term "Christian" is an overlap, like an alternate reality. It's all under the heading, "Christian," but within it you find rock, pop, country, ska, rap, etc.

Zack: what _type_ of instrumental? Other bands that sound like the Remix cd??
