tee hee hee, this news story was mailed to me before it went online. I asked for a pretty picture to go with it, and I'm glad the website has obliged.

It would be better if they were called Pretty Dirty Things. But we can't have everything, can we? Of course they are my new favourite band. No, I don't want to hear a note and spoil it all.

Carl Barat's new band, Dirty Pretty Things may be forced to change its name after a legal mix-up.

Apparently the band played their first gig tonight, though I have no idea where it was.

I'm guessing Camden somewhere. Or possibly Shoreditch.
