Mew and the Pretentiously-Titled Album: C/D?

Has anyone on this board heard the new Mew album? And if so, is it any good? As someone who considers "Frengers" one of the best albums of the past five years or so, I was a little distressed by the name (word association: Mars, Volta.) and frequent allusions to "prog" and "heaviness" in the reviews I've read. I heard "Apocalypso," and I'm worried that this album is going to be a bunch of songs in the vein of "Snow Brigade," which was only redeemed by the ungodly beautiful melody. Anyways, long story short I am looking forward to hearing the album, with serious reservations; what does anyone else think?

Yes, it's good, it's not as good as "Frengers", though.

There's far too many quiet/slow songs on it.

"Apocolypso" is the best song on the album.

"Zookeeper's Baby" is also pretty good, but its one of those songs i dont really want to be seen listening to.
