This is the order I'm about to place on BMG: Tell Me what I'm doing wrong

The Clash - Sandinista
Stereolab - Margerine Eclipse
GZA - Liquid Swords
Ice Cube - Amerikkka's Most Wanted
Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt
Redman - Dare Iz a Darkside
Mr. Bungle - California
Blondie - Parallel Lines
Gang Starr - Daily Operation
The Roots - Things Fall Apart
Brian Eno - Ambient 1: Music for Airports
Iggy Pop - Lust for Life

Any of those I absolutely need to get rid of or replace with something else? This ends all of my free selections that I've collected with BMG, which is why the list is so big.

that's all pretty cool stuff!

dont bother with the roots

Wow, that's an ace-y list - but I reckon (and this is just my opinion to-day) I reckon the Mr Bungle can go esp. if you've got their first album. That or the Jay-Z at a push...

No way can you lose The Roots/Eno/Iggy/Redman or Stereolab all fine or finest examples of their work.

Mr. Bungle - California

I've said this a bunch of other times on ILM but I much prefer Gang Starr's Hard to Earn over Daily Op.

this other ned makes a good point re: the roots. overall, id say you could ditch them, but if youre interested in them, that (or tipping pt, i hear) is the best one to get...

petesmith (plsmith), Monday, 17 October 2005 17:12 (twenty years ago)

i think Things Fall Apart is the best roots...

M@tt He1geson (Matt Helgeson), Monday, 17 October 2005 17:12 (twenty years ago)

Do You Want More!??! is my favorite roots album, Things Fall Apart just behind it.

deej.. (deej..), Monday, 17 October 2005 17:13 (twenty years ago)

that's the only mr bungle album i can even stand to listen to. i'd keep that one

Keep Mr Bungle.

everything, Monday, 17 October 2005 17:41 (twenty years ago)

What other albums were you considering getting if you dropped any of these?

JC-L (JC-L), Monday, 17 October 2005 17:56 (twenty years ago)

xpost
Can it, keep the hip hop, Eno and Iggy.

blunt (blunt), Monday, 17 October 2005 17:56 (twenty years ago)

Do You Want More >> Things Fall Apart >> Organix >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Illadelph Halflife

I haven't really bothered with anything sense then.
