Should I go? It's on Saturday in Hoboken, NJ. I won them from WFMU. I know who they are but I never really got an album or anything.

If I can't go, does anyone want them? I'll sell them cheap.

I saw Los Straightjackets in July, and they were pretty good. Their cover of "My Heart Will Still Go On" is sublime. Are Kaiser George and the Petain sisters touring with them?

I second Ned on the Big Sandy props. Curious how it flies with Los Straightjackets. They played around here a little bit ago, but I couldn't go.

I'd recommend you make it to the show if you can. Best, you saw something that shifted your vision; worst, you left early and didn't have to pay for the tix.

And, as for paying for the tix, give 'em away if you can't go. Or call up WFMU if there's still time before the show and let 'em give them away to someone who can go. But, don't charge for 'em.

i just saw los straitjackets tonight, with big sandy. i twisted until i could twist no more. i had more fun than i've had at any show in months.
