Yet I have not seen much, if anything, about the fact that Ice-T has apparently transitioned smoothly and well to TV.
I mean, what if Kool Moe Dee starred on CSI?
What if Erik B. had a recurring role?
It just struck me as odd tonight that Ice-T is what appears to be an accepted, if not celbrated, television fixture. Was there a big splash when this happened, and I just missed it?
This of it this way: if you went into a coma in 1991 and just came out, wouldn't it be kinda weird that Ice-T is starring in a successfult mainstream TV show...as a cop?

celbrated = celebrated
This = Think
successfult = wacky

Perhaps.
I was just struck tonight by the post-modern absurdity of Ice-T as a TV star. It just seems like it kind of happened without much "WTF"?
So I am attempting a global "WTF."
If it doesn't take, so be it.
