is there a techno record shop in the east village?

a couple of months ago i walked into this tiny little store, near e. 12th and 2nd ave, stocked with all kinds of great stuff, two turntables set up on a little raised part. but there were half-opened boxes everywhere, the place was a mess. is this place just opening, or just closing? does anyone else know this place? it was a bit narnia-esque, so i'm fully expecting no one else to have any idea.

there's turntable lab, but that's on 7th. and they're more of a hiphop entity than anything else. great, great store, though.

i don't know about the one you saw.

yeah, the selection at the place i was at was a combination of hard trance and techno .. kompakt and huge choons in the same shop!

huh...it just dawned on me that i almost never go up second avenue. sounds like a cool shop, though. i'll have to check it out.

Well I did see a DJ shop on Second Ave.. a block or two before Finyl Vinyl.. but I'm pretty sure it wasn't on e 12th..

yes, well it was NEAR there. obv if i knew exactly where it was i could confirm/.. disaffirm? this for myself. i haven't been able to find it again. gah, do i need to be pure of heart in order to do so?

"vinyl market" is the name, huh? it's not etherea, that's a proper shop. this is just like a room off the street.
