here's what Goldfrapp had as a bulletin a couple days about on myspace:

US RELEASE NEWS !
Body: So after many emails about our US release we finally have some news for you. Supernature is due to be releasded in the US on 7th March 2006.
The packaging and design will be exclusive and has yet to be announced. But you'll all be the first to know. A Number 1 EP is also being release on 1st November, also with US-exclusive tracklisting. And here it is: 1. Number 1, 2. Beautiful, 3. All Night Operator, 4. Number 1 (Alan Braxe & Fred Falke Mix), 5. Ooh La La (Tiefschwarz Dub), 6. Number 1 (Postcards From The Summer - Video) These will be released to all Digital Music Stores too

So I guess it's on an EP being released at the end of the month. Hope this helps...

Mute seriously need to release "Number 1" CD b-side "Beautiful" on vinyl!

I'm not sure why I'm not more excited by this. I guess because the other recent B&F remixes (for Annie, Royksopp and DFA1979) were merely OK as opposed to 'amazing', but I have no idea what I'm looking for in a remix anymore.

It's a decent remix, nothing really special in my mind. I prefer the instrumental mix to the vocal one. It does have an amusing French Kiss-esque style slow-down-and-speed-up section in the middle.

four weeks pass...
This is good.

it's ... OK. there's a lovely kraftwerky texture in there, but TBH i don't think it touches the goldfrapp original.
