Need To Know More About: (Think of this as a challenge.)

Hey there. Yes, it's me. Yes, I can hear the groans from here.

I do need some help, though. See, I need information about, generous YSIs of, and other such information on three different UK groups that existed from ca. 1979 - 1983. Just think of it as a challenge, really. Are you game?

Group #1 was strictly a live gigs-only one that went by the name The Cleaners. Apparently they performed R&B-type music and formed ca. 1979 - 1980. Group #2 was a group that apparently released one single entitled "I'll Buy You Makeup To Make You Mine" ca. 1981 and they were called Flying Club. Group #3 was a group called Strategy One To Three that released one 7" titled "Magazine Dream" before it existed no more.

So -- any knowlegable takers?

Here's the Strategy One to Three track, which I got off some compilation I found at a yard sale.

Ian Spangler: MUCH appreciated for your assistance! I'll definitely give it a listen and will try to assist you with any information I end up finding out (from outside sources, obv) about this group.

mark grout: Don't tell me you haven't heard groans. "Oh no, it's HER." Etc.

I can safely say that Strategy One to Three song is one of the weirdest things I've ever heard.

Yeah, it's not at all what I was expecting. Perhaps there was a different Strategy One To Three than the one I was seeking out information on... ? The band I was interested in should've (I would've thought) sounded like they came straight out of ca. 1982 - 1983, but that... is odd.
