It depends what your definition of "happening" is, but my pick would be what's happening at Ausland:

Soybelman has some sort of connection to Sachiko M and Tzadik, which is good enough for me. Alternatively, there's Frathese Toys at NBI, no idea what they're like.

i recommend going to the sleeparchive gig at berghain. that's where i'd be. man, i miss berlin already. back in noisy, ridiculously expensive NYC.

Now that I look back at that Berghain gig, I suspect Pete is the same as DJ Pete, aka Peter Kuschnereit aka Substance, half of Scion with René Löwe. Wow!

Well, back from Berlin and sad to say I missed out on everything. Had to spend the evening gladhanding. But thanks for your help. Say Geeta, I came across that hangout last time I was over, great atmosphere. I'd forgotten where it was so all has not been lost.
