1993 Mix-Tape

Hiya, I'm trying to replicate a mix-tape that was given to me in the spring of 1993. I've identified and located 15 of the 24 songs so far, but others I really have no clue about. All I know is that they were released by the spring of 1993 on CD, VHS, or possibly cassette (the person who gave me the tape didn't have a turntable in the house at the time).

On most of these, even a title or an artist would be wonderful. On a couple I've identified who and what and I'm now just looking for the exact track.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All of the songs are in this archive: http://homepage.mac.com/mosquito/ljfiles/audio/unknown-music/unknown-music.zip

Here's a chart (if posting HTML here works) listing all tracks on the mix-tape and any comments I have so far.

Thanks. :)

This is not from the Play the Videos or Secret World Live videos or from Us (1992). This was probably done in a studio. Is it the version called "Quiet Steam" on the "Digging in the Dirt" single?

This is almost the same version as on their Greatest Hits (2003) which I think came from Mother's Milk (1989), but that's only 3:20. Is it from Jamming Over Brazil (rio 01-22-1993)? I don't quite think it's live, but that's the only reference for a version of "Higher Ground" that's about 3:35 I've found so far.
