My band "flipside" opened for Thousand Foot Krutch, and now they're number 17 on the rock charts. I'm basically famous.

That's my gut-wrenchingly pathetic claim to fame. What's yours?

I should further point out that my band "flipside" was a christian rock band which told people about jesus between songs called "lead me on" and "velocity".

i grew up with someone from Evanescence, and he went on family vacations with us. he loved the patriot games soundtrack.

or

my dad made a commercial for an aluminum siding company starring Jim Nabors (think Mayberry), whose gospel albums are unstoppable.

May I add to my christian rock wall of shame that I saw switchfoot play in a small Ontario church in about 1997 to a crowd of maybe 40?

Nobody else has horribly humiliating musical memories which they would normally guard like nuclear launch codes from the ILM community?

My dad met Jimmy Page when he was in the Yardbirds.

*Jimmy Page was in the Yardbirds, not my dad.

Andrew WK is the man. He should call me.

Once, at a fondue party, my friend got a call from the drummer from Sexual Harassment about an ILM post.

We once opened up for Dickey Betts. That was a totally fun show, I have to admit.
