I saw him on the
Rising Above Bedlam tour in '91 or '92. It was...good. Who's he playing with this time? Justin Adams?

I saw him last time he played in Detroit. They had the bass up too loud for my taste ("Too loud?! Sacrilege!" I hear people saying when they read this) My chest rumbled.

There is definitely such a thing as too-loud bass. The first time I saw Broadcast it seemed like half the audience left clutching their stomachs and running for the bathrooms -- it was like mass bowelquake up in there.

Sat 1/28/06 Chicago, IL Abbey PubJah Wobble saddens me as well-- that's not the best weekend for me to drive down to Chicago (plus that's the venue that I almost got mugged walking back to my car from the last time I was in CHI for a show).
