Yeah, I'd like to hear more of these people (based on the one song I heard 20 years ago or something!). Never saw their records around ever though. They were an offshoot of the Sound, right?

yeah, adrian borland i think was the leader of both the sound and honolulu mountain daffodils... or maybe it was all the same people like dukes of the stratosphear and xtc, not sure

The one song that's presently more-or-less in circulation on that Space Lines comp ("Psychic Hitlist Victim No. 8") is incredible. But what I've heard of their other stuff isn't quite as good.

weird, i just pulled out the 12" of "Psychic Hitlist Victim No. 8" the other day and played it for the first time in 10 years probably! i've no idea what their other stuff is like though...

three years pass...

I can't believe there's a thread for these guys! Their 3 albums are way better than I remembered - the title tracks on "Guitars Of The Oceanic Undergrowth" and "Tequila Dementia" are particularly awesome. And what the hell is "Electronic Alcoholic"? Bizarre techno gone wrong, fabulous. Pity they're even more obscure than Adrian himself.
