Song Id Help: 90s Canadian Rock Band

I need some help ID'ing this song and this 90s Canadian band.

It's definitely an east coast canadian band. They had a few minor hits in the mid-90s and disappeared.

I can't remember the song name because I don't think the chorus included it. I think the chorus is him going "yeeeeeeeah".

I remember the video well though:

The lead singer has dreadlocks, he's singing into a mic that has a sign that says "Possum?". The video has a cop chasing around a male prostitute. I think the guy who plays the prostitute is that latin guy who was in a bunch of those Madonna videos. This guy:

It's not The Killjoys, not Limblifter, not Salmonblaster, not I Mother Earth, not Northern Pikes.

I don't know the song, but the guy in the picture is Tony Ward and he played in a film called Hustler White where he's a prostitute who gets chased a lot. Maybe it's on the soundtrack?
There are two 90's east-coast canadian bands with a dreadlocked lead singer that I can think of: Bootsauce and the Doughboys. It might be one of them?

I'm haunted that I know the answer to this.

The band was Rusty and the song was "Misogyny."

Bruce LaBruce was the director of the video, and the guy doing the chasing, I believe.

While I can't remember the song off hand I don't remember it being too bad. I mean I wasn't a fan per se, but there was lots of crap music coming out around that time that wasn't from Canada (Hootie and the Blowfish, Collective Soul, depending on your tastes, of course)

I think they used images from the film. Not having seen the film and too lazy to relook it up I base this upon memories from that time and from, earlier, trying to confirm that Bruce LaBruce was the chaser in the video.
