one one hand:good folk-prog band.great musicians.nice interpertations to the genre.
on the other: they aren't even: some songs are way weaker then the others, and they didnt released their masterpiece yet.(i hope they will).
i think "we like it wild" is their best effort though.

at long last - a band that no one got any opinion about!

They're not that well-known. Are they on Secretly Canadian? I played with them once, they seemed like nice guys.

four months pass...
He's so good at the guitar ! Every time i see them live i sorta wish he would just solo the whole time, but you know, the songs, they are very good too. I put off getting into them for a long time because they are constantly playing around town and it was just too easy, but I've fallen very in love with them lately. Haven't felt this way about an indie rock band since high school, at least. What they do is deeper than that to me -- 's got soul.

seven years pass...

i like this band a lot--so much, that when they announced 2 reunion shows, i looked them up on ILM.

their last record is a guitar-centric off-center rock LP...i like it a lot. that said, this quieter number reminiscent of their masterwork (Tum) is my favorite:

Great live band, too. Here's a heavier number from their last record...highly overlooked:

this is the band that Norman Oak plays in, yeah? I like him/them, saw him do a great set as part of a Terrastock-related gig in 2008. I have the one LP with Horus on the cover.

yeah, Chris (Norman Oak) is lead singer/songwriter/guitar player of the Impossible Shapes.
