Two Scoops (Magic Duster), Saturday, 29 April 2006 14:07 (twenty years ago)

tchaikovskys 6th symphony, mravinsky.

Masked Gazza, Saturday, 29 April 2006 14:10 (twenty years ago)

I don't like the 6th Symphony.

Two Scoops (Magic Duster), Saturday, 29 April 2006 14:11 (twenty years ago)

keyth (keyth), Saturday, 29 April 2006 14:12 (twenty years ago)

I am, but only because I heard it last night.

I think it's a pretty awesome album.

Two Scoops (Magic Duster), Saturday, 29 April 2006 14:17 (twenty years ago)

no? the 5th then?

Masked Gazza, Saturday, 29 April 2006 14:17 (twenty years ago)

5th isn't that great either.

Two Scoops (Magic Duster), Saturday, 29 April 2006 14:20 (twenty years ago)

Beethoven's fifth was always a fave for me when I was a nipper.

tolstoy (tolstoy), Saturday, 29 April 2006 14:24 (twenty years ago)

How badly do you want the Fela stuff? Because you could probably fit a hundred four-minute songs in the space that all those Fela albums take up. I don't have many prog epics on my iPod for this reason.

You need Love - Forever Changes and Ravel's only String Quartet

andrew b (klik99), Saturday, 29 April 2006 14:50 (twenty years ago)

I guess the idea is that you like everything that's on there, right?

For me Fela's Afrodisiac is good for just one listen every couple years. Replace it with the new Tony Allen album.

Avoid Marley burn-out and listen to Toots & the Maytals, Justin Hinds, The Congos, Max Romeo or Junior Murvin.

Snake on the new Comsat Angels remasters.

Blue Filters (Gilkannon), Saturday, 29 April 2006 16:03 (twenty years ago)

I just put both Shugo Tokumaru albums on it. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Two Scoops (Magic Duster), Saturday, 29 April 2006 19:00 (twenty years ago)

1st Angels of Light album; the 1st His Name Is Alive album; some Shostakovich (pref. string quartets)?

davelus (davelus), Sunday, 30 April 2006 04:11 (twenty years ago)

How many songs can you fit on it?

ramon fernandez (ramon fernandez), Sunday, 30 April 2006 04:15 (twenty years ago)

why are you soliciting advice from total fucking strangers??? there's a 95% change you're getting suggestions from total morons. why don't you put on stuff that you like and that you'll listen to??

lkfds fdsk;ljfds, Sunday, 30 April 2006 04:18 (twenty years ago)
