1. Leave them all behind, from Ride - Going blank again - rich,bombastic production, with Byrds like vocals (as in "nowhere" but more polished).The rest is average brit rock pop.

2. Conventional Lullabies,from Young and Sexy - Panic when you find it - sounds like Mamas and Papas with The Shins and Outrageous Cherry.
the rest is average twee.

3. Country Feedback, from R.E.M - out of time.The guitars are excellent, the song is sad and touching.the rest is uninspiring.

I don't think "Wild Life" qualifies as either mediocre or crap. It's 90% awesome in my world. Another love letter from Paul's glory days and you may call me a twat for that if you like. If there had been a couple of big production numbers and a smattering of ukelele it would be indistinguishable from Ram. "Bip Bop" is annoying though.

"Bouncin' Back" on Mystikal's Tarantula. It's pretty much "Shake Ya Ass" part 2, but it's still deadly. The rest of the album (i think only one other song is a neptunes tune) is astonishingly forgettable and forgotten.

"Out Of Time" does of course contain "Losing My Religion" and also a couple of nice tracks, so it doesn't belong. I'd rather pick "What's The Frequency Kenneth", which is actually the only listenable song on the "Monster" album.

cool yer boots, time machine, ox4, chrome waves, these are probably all better than leave them all behind which always promised more than it delivered. if they had put 'howard hughes' and 'stampede' on the album instead of 'not fazed' and 'time of her time' it might have been better than nowhere.

The song itself isn't that good it only has the longest drum solo ever recorded (the song is a total of 17:02)

I love most of Going Blank Again but the vocals remind me more of like a late-90s boy bands than the Byrds. Definitely the loudest record that recalls a boy band.

"Going Blank Again" is an insanely amazing EP + filler to round out the album.

Nightblooms "Butterfly Girl" is so wrong. Especially since the best track on the album is "1000 Years." Butterfly Girl *is* different from everything else on the album, so presumably someone might like it and hate the rest...

With Ride kicking off the thread, I'm surprised that 'Black Nite Crash' off of Tarantula didn't make an appearance. Maybe "great" is stretching it, but compared to its surroundings it's pretty great.
