7or eight years ago, I played in a Hull band called Summerbee - we recorded a load of tracks for an album but nothing really happened, and it fell apart in the way that these things do.

However I found an old CDR in the attic, and listened to the stuff we did for the first time in about 5 years. And I've lost all my critical faculties with it, probably because I was so close to it. It's either wonderful and we were a lost psych/pop/whatever band that the rest of the world and usfailed to notice, or more likely, it was the biggest pile of shit. But I can't decide - help me out here guys... (btw this is not a cheap attempt to plug "my music" - as I say it was a long time ago and everyone involved is now on very different and better projects! just curious that being so familiar with something means I've lost the capability to assess it against any objective criteria...)

The "Nine - Mary Barker's" tune is kinda cool. Needed a severe edit. I think it could have accomplished the same amount in less time.

cheers for listening Brooker... editing was never a strong point!
