You know, if everyone who had a complex piece of equipment called "a mobile phone that can play polyphonic ringtones", that are sufficiently at one with the technology and procedures involved in downloading such ringtomes for however much they cost, instead got off their buttons and went and made their own, things like "Crazy Frog" could be avoided from now on!

Mine plays the intro to "Love Rollercoaster". In the past, I've had Miserlou. My phone is the cheap Motorola V180, but it has a USB port so I can hook it up to my comp and put mp3 snippets on it.

Stillness Is The Move is mine. Works well, except for a couple of times where I've been in a bar with indie-leaning taste in background music and reached for my phone by mistake. Used to have Two Minutes To Midnight but it didn't quite have the necessary shrillness for optimum audibility. I used to have Can's I Want More, Stereolab's Pop Quiz and Human League's WXJL Tonight on my old HTC. Assigning MP3 ringtones is a bit more of a faff on the iPhone but I've managed to get Boards of Canada - Zoetrope on there for now.
