I like Dr. Dre and G-Funk is a more correct way to put it. Personally I think those songs on the "All Eyez On Me" album would have worked even better without the rap part, but the rest of the music is so great anyway that I have no problem enjoying it in spite of the rapping :)

Sadly, Rakim, who is my favorite rapper ever, has never made a solid album. Paid in Full changed the game, sure, but those shitty DJ tracks do the opposite of what early Jazzy Jeff DJ tracks did (give credibitlity and excitement/weigh album down)
