Cumbia music - any suggestions or info concerning this genre?

I am new here it I love music so,I have no idea if anyone has asked about this sort of music on i love music so if it is repeat please lock the thread anjd or refer me to a thread on the topic.
Anyway, I am wondering
if anyone who visits this forum knows anything about Cumbia music and if there are any suggestions for purchase, listening, background etc..

cumbia is great dance music but back when I was listening to it a lot I never knew the names of the artists - it was more a "this is playing, let's dance" thing.

it's one of those 'know it when i see it' genres for me, when a song is on I turn to my wife and say "this is cumbia right?" and she says "yes" and I have no idea how I know.
