Any other methods? Would leaving a record under a flat plank of wood with a lot of wright on it do anything, Or would that just be potentially bad for the record? What about under a running (and thus warm) laptop?

You do need to reheat it so that it loses its current shape- put it in the sun for a little while (timing is key) then drop a stack of records onto it?

Best tip I can advise, use a goddamn motherfucking dollar record before you use anything you'd even remotely miss before fucking yourself over.
Right now I'm going to let a 12" lie under a good 60+ pounds of assorted stuff for half a week after failed attempts with the sun, lamps, and hairdryers. If this doesn't do anything, next time I'm trying the oven.
