I plan to have this on repeat while I am drugged and operated on for six hours (in 2 weeks). How does the idea strike you? I'm serious, I think it will be perfect. Dissuade me or encourage me. Thanks all.

How does your oral surgeon feel about this?

The only problem is the jumpiness of it, especially to someone who hasn't listened to it before. You may wish to consider this unless the dentist in question is a fan (ie- do you like the idea of a dentist drilling into yr tounge/brain/nose/wrong tooth?) However it is a good soundtrack, tho perhaps some black metal or power noise might be more appropriate.

geko, i assume he means on headphones, i.e. only he can hear it, NOT the dentist.

Make sure you have antibiotic prophylaxis before the procedure as protection against the "WHAT'S UP DOC" moment.

Yeah - it will be on headphones. They give me some kind of powerful sedative and I put it on repeat. The dentist is all for it, if I say it's OK.

Except for the surgery part, I'm quite looking forward to it (man, is that trying to put the best spin on a bad situation or what?).
