I just heard my first Aliens (Beta Band minus Steve Mason) song, "Happy Song".

My first impression: This is one of the worst songs I've ever heard that I was actually excited to listen to.

My second impression: Steve Mason deserves way more credit than I was previously giving him.

Totally disagree, I love "The Happy Song", a funny mix of "Magical Mystery Tour", Beach Boys and "Screamadelica"-era Primal Scream. Also liked the previous single, "Robot Man", but this is better.

i'll concur that happy song is a little annoying, but i am surprised there isn't more love for this band ..
