Was listening to this again today - great mix! But apart from being great, it was making me think how so much minimal derives funk from its, er, tenuousness. Like the Samim and Argenix track, the way that little hop skip jump melody keeps on threatening to drop out completely, it's so weirdly funk! Reminds me a bit of Osborne's "Graphite". Also Saint Ibot's "White Night" is a good example of why it's a bit limiting to talk about this stuff in terms of minimalism versus maximalism - such a busy, hyper tune!
