Dragonaut's 5:43, Dopesmoker's 63:31, and Holy Mountain's 8:44. That would be slightly under 80 minutes.

Brian O'Neil (Tzarathustra), Saturday, 30 September 2006 04:51 (nineteen years ago)

Back when I used to (try to) listen to music as I fell asleep, I discovered that anything remotely interesting or enjoyable kept me awake, because I wanted to listen. So I'd say start off the mix with one of the worst songs you can think of, fill up the rest with random tracks, and I bet after three or so minutes you'll want to turn the stereo off and hit the sack.

Josh in Chicago (Josh in Chicago), Saturday, 30 September 2006 12:54 (nineteen years ago)

Hmm. Well, at the moment, mine is (randomized and cross-faded):

Einsturzende Neubauten, "Ozean und Brandung"
Vladislav Delay, "The Third Quarter"
Terry Riley, "IV" (from the Poppy Nogood "Strobes" live CD)Hazard, "Peenemunde"
Phill Niblock, "Ten Auras (Live)"
Terry Riley, "Poppy Nogood and the Phantom Band" (Rainbow in Curved Air version)

A tidy 78 minutes of ominous sleep drone. Yum!
