My girlfriend thinks so..

There's not a lot of the noticeable Kanye influence in this album, but Legend is keeping it real with almost every song sounding like a sleezy infidelity ballad..

It's alright I like it.

'every song sounding like a sleazy infidelity ballad' sounds good.

eight months pass...

OK, this "Save Room for My Love" song is basically obscene, right?

haha this thread title is very WTF but he actually does sing like a white man (Jeff Buckley) on "Show Me."

"Save Room" isn't really any more obscene than a lot of R&B songs with light innuendo, unless your liberal interpretation of the chorus is "save room for my cock."

This just might hurt a little
love hurts sometimes when you do it right
Don't be afraid of a little bit of pain
pleasure is on the other side

Let down your guard just a little
I'll keep you safe in these arms of mine
Hold on to me - pretty baby
You will see I can be all you need

save room for my love
save room for a moment to be with me
save room for my love save a little
save a little for me
won't you save a little
save a little for me - ohh

Ohhh come on

Make time to live a little
don't let this moment slip by tonight
you never know what you are missing until you try
I keep you satisfied
if you stay, won't you stay - stay

I'm sure that a future google search will link me to those lyrics forever LOL.

This album was so underrated, especially after the frenzy over his undeserving first album. It made me sad.

He reminds me of Ron Sexsmith.

I think he's saying you should avoid eating too much the day of your date with him.

four months pass...

Listening to this again, I've come to the conclusion that Once Again is as good or even better than any album Stevie Wonder's ever done, and that's no slight on Stevie, who I absolutely admire. Fucking incredible.

there was a longer thread on this album.

gr8080, Tuesday, 6 November 2007 03:10 (eighteen years ago)

The only other thread I could find about him was mostly about his first album with some talk about this one at the end.

The Reverend, Tuesday, 6 November 2007 03:20 (eighteen years ago)

gr8 album, at any rate.
