It would've been cool if people did this back in the days of single edits of long rock/soul LP cuts. Like the Doors' "Light My Fire."

I still don't know why I hear this in recorded mixes all the time.

Does it mean "Oh, I'm trainwrecking so I'll distract you with an off the wall comment."

or "Your about to hear an edit I made."
