Solid Rhythm 101

Please suggest tracks (pre 1975) with a pronounced, resounding beat. Vague requirement? Too general? Perhaps (I don't have a lot of time). Some obvious choices that come to my mind:

Donovan's "Hurdy Gurdy Man"--ridiculously large thump
Donovan's "Get Thy Bearings"
The Stones "She's A Rainbow" and "She Smiled Sweetly" etc.
The Beatles...too many to list
Let's exclude Bonzo from this too...although he owns it, and there was some speculation that he might have been responsible for "Hurdy Gurdy's" drum track (attr. to Clem Cattini)

suggestions?
