Please help identify song (New York, New York)

Sometime in the 80's we went to the disco and the DJ played a song that went something like New York, New York and it repeated the same verse I already got the Nina Hagen song but it's not that one, this one was more mmmm techo / punk I don't know how to describe it but usually right after that song the DJ played another song by Nitzer Ebb so. This is driving me crazy if you can help thanks a million.
