yeah she was the only one i really felt bad for in that edgeplay movie. everybody else had had ups and downs, but she'd been mostly downs. sad.

The last time I saw her she was alone in a studio in North Hollywood practicing. She'd play a beat, stop, think about it, start playing again until it was right.

Very sad. I've been playing the first 2 Runaways records a lot recently but I had no idea that Sandy was ill. She was an important part of a great, great band. RIP Queen of Noise.

Bollox. She was always my favourite - you can keep the more obvious good looking Lita Ford or the quasi Suzi Quatro appeal of Joan Jett and Currie.

Sandy was one of my crushes in my early teens (around 77/78 ish). I haven't thought about her in years, but I think it may be time to dig out the early albums.
