What was bands who never record under drugs influence ( as much as we can know ) ?
You can reject Beatles , The Stones, The Libertines. Am I wrong ?

not the smiths. andy rourke had a heroin problem. i guess it's debatable as to how much he influenced the band though

It isn't like he is completely straight edge, but Robyn Hitchcock uses considerably less drugs that one would expect when listening to his work.
