Never thought I'd say that I liked a blog run by the New York Times but "The Score" - http://thescore.blogs.nytimes.com/ - is enjoyable so far. Glenn Branca is one of the authors, the rest are all downtown sorts also.

I never imagined I'd see Steve Kilbey's blog described as "worthwhile."

Cex's blog is pretty interesting, although he kind of does the whole "I just had a life-changing epiphany and this metaphor I'm about to explain will blow your mind" thing about once a month: http://blumpy.org/rjyan/?page=archive

XXLmag.com has had a few rappers do guest blogs for a week or two at a time, most of them were lame but I think Pitbull and Lupe Fiasco wrote some decent entries.

If Martin Clark counts as a musician http://www.blackdownsoundboy.blogspot.com/ is pretty good, but I still think of him as more of a critic.

My favorite is Tod Ashley's (Dig Dat Hole / Cop Shoot Cop / Firewater). He's blogs about his expat adventures in Southeast Asia over the past couple of years.

I love his tale of the dead rat from Kolkata:

My only complaint is that his posts aren't sorted by date, they're alphabetical, gah.

Halftheory.com usually has some funny stuff. It's Joel Stern's thing. Kind of promotes the Brisbane noise/psych scene.

The beanbag story + photo is fairly amusing.

Some days I honestly wish we lived in the "blogger John Mayer to release album" universe instead of this one.
