Prick?

Does anyone here know of Prick? He was on Trent Reznor's Nothing label and toured with David Bowie and NIN during Bowie's Outside days. He only released one album in '94 I believe. Some of its songs were produced by Trent and though it was relatively unknown, it's one of my favorite cd's from the 90's. The other day my friend told me he has a new album out. I thought he was gone forever, but it turns out he just released a new album in 2002, called The Wreckard, and I got it today! Apparently, he isn't on the Nothing label anymore. I haven't listened to it yet.

Really? What is it like in comparison to his debut? When did it come out exactly, if you know? I'd listen to it, but I don't have the time right now.

I might have to listen to that first one again. I saw him on the Bowie/NIN tour -- which makes perfect sense considering he was essentially Bowie meets NIN anyway -- and he seemed like he was having a good time.

HIs first album on nothing is allright, if a little too Reznorified. (Yes, I know Trent stole from Lucky Pierre first but still...) I wish Trent would be a little more creative with his production and mixes, instead of just making everything he touches sound like NIN. (The me of seven years ago is very angry with me of today for saying that.)

nineteen years pass...

i was ripping old CDs and was surprised that i still found this enjoyable after all these years. it's def very much a Bowie-NIN early 90's cross breed, but if you can make your peace with that, it's not bad!

Man I haven't listened to that first album in probably 23-24 years. Got a lot of spin from my NIN/KMFDM loving roommate.

Your roommate and I would have hit it off. Most of the more obscure industrial stuff I’ve gone through as been terrible (Pigface, Frontline Assembly, Thrill Kill Cult) and maybe that’s why this jumped out at me. Ministry also held up better than expected… as did Monster Magnet!!! (I know MM isn’t industrial but I was shocked how much I enjoyed Dopes… after all these years).
