Despite the squeakiness of her voice, most of the time her delivery is laconic; she needs an active beat to offset that (that contrast is the real reason why Arular works so well and why things like her guest spot on "Bad Man" fall flat). This beat is great but it is not what I would call "active" and the inherent indolence in both feed off of each other and bog each other down.
